At Huddersfield Junior Football League, we are very lucky to have our sponsor to help with funding for all that we do. Without their help and support, we wouldn't be what you see today and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts for their commitment.
The West Riding County Football Association is the governing body of football in the county. We are one of the largest county football associations in the country and oversee all aspects of the game in our territory.
We are responsible for providing the structure and support that enables our players, coaches, volunteers and referees to develop. Our utmost priority is that every participant in our county is given the opportunity to develop in a progressive and enjoyable environment.
Driven forward by our love of sport, we’re here to fight discrimination. We’re here to make sure football is a game for everyone – and that means putting equality and inclusion up front.
We were set up to fight racism in football in 1993. Then in 1997 we expanded to tackle all forms of discrimination. Since the beginning, we’ve made huge progress on and off the pitch, leading the charge for positive change. We’ve done it by raising awareness, confronting issues and helping our sport be better.
Football leagues and clubs accredited by The FA have positively changed the football landscape over the last 20 years. They create the ideal environments to nurture players, coaches and volunteers. The result is greater diversity and inclusivity through football. England Football Accredited replaces The FA Charter Standard and is the next chapter in this amazing story as we unite even more communities by supporting Leagues and Clubs over the next ten years.
